Аnalysis of factors and physical and geographical conditions that influence the causes of accidents at hydrotechnical structures
Abstract
Purpose: to investigate the factors and natural-geographical conditions affecting the causes of accidents at hydrotechnical structures.
Method: analysis, synthesis.
Findings: are considered the factors that can lead to accidents are determined, the potentially most dangerous hydraulic structures of Ukraine and the probable consequences of accidents on them are outlined, the main measures to prevent accidents and minimize their consequences are formulated.
Theoretical implications: the article considers the types, main characteristics and purpose of hydrotechnical structures, defines the concept of a hydrodynamically dangerous object and its features. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the reasons that can lead to the occurrence of accidents at hydrotechnical structures, in particular, to the breakthrough of hydrodynamically dangerous objects.
Papertype: analytical.
