Methodology for Assessing the Ability of a National Economy to Ensure Its Defense Potential: Structural and Logical Scheme and Algorithm
Abstract
Purpose. To develop a structural and logical scheme and algorithm for the methodology for assessing the ability of the national economy to ensure its defense potential.
Method. Methods of analysis and synthesis, comparison, strategic analysis, expert survey, weighted indicator method.
Findings. Analysis of existing approaches to assessing the ability of the national economy of a state to ensure its defense potential; structural and logical scheme and algorithm of the methodology for assessing the ability of the national economy to ensure its defense potential; a practical example of assessing the ability of the national economy of Ukraine to ensure its defense potential by main components; an example of ranges of fuzzy scales for assessing the state of the defense potential and the ability of the national economy of a state to ensure its sufficient level.
Theoretical implications. The results of the study can be used by specialists of higher-level military command bodies, as well as by public administration specialists and scientists in the field of military-economic research.
