Justification of the approach to the optimal selection of performance indicators of the defense sector of Ukraine
Abstract
Purpose: Based on the analysis of existing approaches to evaluating the activities of government organizations in Ukraine and in EU and NATO member states, formulate recommendations for improving the system of performance indicators of the defense sector of Ukraine.
Method: to realize the purpose of the research, the method of complex analysis and generalization was used - for the formulation of scientific definitions and conclusions.
Research results: an attempt to increase the efficiency of the implementation of measures for its development and to introduce a clear, transparent, comprehensive system for evaluating the activities of the components of the defense sector.
Theoretical value of the study: theoretical provisions, conclusions and recommendations presented in the work can become the basis for further scientific research and discussions on the issues of increasing the productivity of the defense sector of Ukraine.
Practical value of the study : the implementation of recommendations and proposals substantiated in the work will allow to improve the process of strategic management of the activities of the defense sector of Ukraine.
Originality: in this study, the construction of a complex system of performance indicators of the defense sector of Ukraine has not yet been the subject of a comprehensive scientific study.
Limitations of the study/Future research: a limitation of the study is the use of publicly available sources.
