Justification of indicators and criteria for improving the method of assessing the efficiency of management of ensuring the economic security of agricultural firms
Abstract
Purpose: the selection and justification of indicators and criteria for managing the economic security of an agricultural company in the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war and, based on them, improving the methodology for adequately assessing the effectiveness of managing the economic security of an agricultural company in the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war (crisis situations).
Method: methods of analysis and synthesis, method of system approach, methods of expert evaluation and grouping, graphical and abstract logical methods.
Practical implications: the existing indicators of the economic security of agricultural enterprises (agrofirms) and approaches to evaluating the level of efficiency of this process are analyzed. The indicators and criteria for managing the economic security of agricultural firms in the difficult conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war are substantiated, and based on them, the methodology for adequately evaluating the effectiveness of managing the economic security of agricultural firms in the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war (crisis situations) is improved.
Value: an improved methodology for evaluating the effectiveness of managing the economic security of agrofirms according to the specified indicators and criteria that take into account all components of the economic security of an agrofirm; the zones of economic security of an agricultural firm are determined, which allows to develop a set of measures to ensure the proper level of economic security, to increase the degree of economic validity of decision-making regarding the priority of the reaction of an agricultural firm regarding self-preservation, stabilization, the formation of a competitive, innovative position or the position of ensuring long-term potential within the limits of ensuring the economic security of an agricultural firm.
Future research: directions of further research can be the formation of a management strategy for ensuring the economic security of agricultural firms; development of a scientific and methodological toolkit for evaluating the management of ensuring the economic security of agro-firms; building a model for improving the management process of ensuring the economic security of agricultural firms and an algorithm for its implementation.
