The scientific and methodical apparatus for combating illegal migration in the area of responsibility of the border detachment
Abstract
Purpose: the development of a scientific and methodological apparatus for choosing a rational option for the use of a border unit to perform tasks in the conditions of a probable scenario of the development of the threat of illegal migration in the area of responsibility of the border detachment.
Method: mathematical models and methods.
Findings: a system of indicators and criteria for determining the state of combating illegal migration in the area of responsibility of the state border protection body was formed; the model for choosing a rational option for the use of a border unit to perform tasks in the conditions of a probable scenario of the development of the threat of illegal migration in the area of responsibility of the border detachment is substantiated; a method of forecasting possible scenarios of the situation in the area of responsibility of the border detachment was developed.
Theoretical implications: this scientific and methodological apparatus allows to implement with sufficient adequacy the main approaches to countering illegal migration in the area of responsibility of the border detachment.
Value: it allows making informed decisions regarding the selection and further formation of a rational option for the use of border units of the border detachment in accordance with specific scenarios of the development of the situation, which will guarantee the provision of effective countermeasures against illegal migration in specific areas of responsibility.
Future research: in the course of further research, it is advisable to work out the recommendations of the headquarters of the border detachment regarding effective countermeasures against illegal migration in the area of responsibility.
