Modern challenges and ways of implementation of distance and online forms of foreign language learning in higher military educational institutions
Abstract
Distance learning as a new form of didactic practice has become a crucial test not only for educators, administration, but also for those who study. The article analyzes the main problems facing the effectiveness of the educational process. On the worldwide web, we come across a number of authentic materials, both social and professional, military, as well as tools for processing resources that allow to convert them into quality teaching material. The authors analyze the functionality of the centralized system of electronic educational content Moodle, which connects all participants in the educational process, permitting to establish effective communication between them in a single plane; simultaneously carry out differentiated activities for certain groups of students, as well as effectively monitor the quality of the educational process; develop high-quality systematized educational content in compliance with the requirements for the presentation of information in digital form, adapted to the modern level of digital technologies; to carry out purposeful work to increase the level of competence of the entire teaching staff to master not only digital, but also pedagogical technologies. The article focuses on the importance of using a communicative approach in the system of speech activity, namely, speech communication, the ratio of English and native languages; analysis of the system of speech perception, linguistic interaction, as well as the text as a system of linguistic products in the form of a monologue, dialogue, monologue in dialogue, various types of linguistic expressions and messages, in addition, the study of the process of mastering the English language in combination with the peculiarity of a speaker behavior. Therefore, the introduction of pedagogical technologies of distance learning, in particular in the study of foreign languages, should enable to achieve successful results through indirect communication between teachers and students with the help of resources that exist on the world wide web and are accessible and easy to use by the subjects of the educational process.
